“Landskap”, meaning Landscape, is a blend of Shiraz (70%) and Merlot (30%). Aromas of ripe cherries, plum and dark chocolate pave the way for a lovely cheese and wine pairing. It is a fruit-forward wine designed for early consumption.
Mediterranean - The summers are hot and dry with cold, wet winters. Supplemental irrigation during summer.
Well-drained gravel soils.
The crushed grapes are inoculated with pure yeast and fermented dry at 26 - 28 ˚C. Alcoholic fermentation is completed in about 7 - 8 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wines received light oak maturation for 6 weeks.
At 16-18˚C, with red meat, pastas and fish.

Vaulted Wine provides a service where you can store your wine collection in perfect cellar conditions until you're ready to ship it. Wine can also be collected directly at the Vault at Lourensford Estate in Somerset West. Wines may be traded online without them leaving the vault. Wine is stored at R10 per month per case.
